FAQs & Terms and Conditions for Maternity Photo Sessions

The below Terms and Conditions of a service or packages are non-negotiable. They are designed to protect both the photographer and the client, outlining the responsibilities of both parties. It’s always important to read and understand them before agreeing to them.

If you have any concerns or questions about the terms and conditions, it’s a good idea to reach out to the photographer for clarification. However, keep in mind that they are usually standard and apply to all client equally.

1 . What is the best time to get a Maternity shoot done?

» The best time for a maternity photoshoot is during the late second trimester or early third trimester, around 28 to 32 weeks. During this time, the belly is usually well-rounded, and the expectant mother is still comfortable enough for posing. It's a balance between showcasing a prominent baby bump while ensuring the mom-to-be is not too close to her due date, minimizing any potential discomfort.

» However, personal preferences and circumstances may vary, so it's essential to communicate with the photographer and choose a timeframe that suits both the expectant mother and the photographer.

2. Is the Maternity Gown, hair & makeup and props included in the packages?

» Gowns are complimentarily included in the package pricing as per the packages, which we hire from gown rental service. Additional Gown/Outfit can be added at extra charges as mentioned in the packages details.

Please inform us beforehand if you want to include your own attire/outfit/dress. The pricing remains unchanged, even when you use your own attire/outfit/dress as 1 or 2 gowns are provided complimentary based on the package you choose.

Once your booking is confirmed, we will share the gown catalogue and you can order the gown of your choice from the vendor. You can refer to terms & conditions that will be mentioned in the Gown Catalogue, which we share post confirmed bookings.

» Hair & Make-up is not included and we recommend only light make up for maternity photo session.

» Props are included as per package you choose. Your personal items/accessories can also be incorporated (exclusion is your attire/dress).

» We provide Portable Changing Room/Privacy Tent to change attire at the outdoor locations which is applicable in case of multiple gowns/dresses/attire. Please inform beforehand.

3. What kind of clothes do dad-to-be wear for the photo session?

» Ideally, light and solid colored outfits look best, for everyone. Whites, creams, beige, peach, light blue, yellow etc. look really good.

» Avoid printed and Bright colored-clothing as much as possible to avoid taking the attention away from your expressions.

» Dad-to-be to come well-groomed

4. When and how do we pay the session fee?

» Pay 50% in advance to secure your date and slot. The remaining 50% immediately after the session.

» Please note that the prices are subject to change without prior notice and are non-negotiable.

» ₹999/- additional charges for every additional hour post agreed time for the sessions.

» ₹1,999/- additional charges for In-home sessions.

» Please visit our booking page for payment options like UPI, NEFT, QR Scan.

5. Are the siblings included in the photoshoot sessions?

» Yes! All our sessions include family portraits that include the mom-to-be, dad-to-be and Full-Siblings (if any).

» We take 2-3 pictures with the siblings, however, we intend to focus more on the maternity shoot in the time allotted for your shoot.

» Family Portraits are included and are restricted to ONLY parents baby's full-siblings.

» Other family members can be included at additional charges of ₹999/- per person.

» Niece, Nephew or other relatives will be added at additional charges.

6. When and how will you deliver the photos?

» All the watermarked images will be shared within 2-4 working days. Edited images will take 2-4 weeks after the selection of images is done.

» We will attend any retouching needs for the images of your session. In addition to that any basic color enhancement and my signature look will be applied to all images.

» We will share edited digital images from the session as per selected package and extra edits can be bought for ₹350 per image.

» Delivery of images will be on Google Drive only and Pen drive can be acquired at additional charges.

» Delivery of printed images will be sent via courier by our printing vendors directly to the address provided.

» If, in case, you wish to get the images on priority, we do have a ‘Quick Delivery’ option at an additional charges of ₹1,999/-.

» RAW or unedited images will NOT be shared under any circumstances. Please check the reason why it is followed by most of the professional photographer worldwide by visiting this link.

However, if you insist to keep the RAW images, you can always buy them at additional price of ₹2,999/- ONLY.

» Please note that the prices are subject to change without prior notice and are non-negotiable.

» Copyright remains with the photographer.

7. Can I request for more photos than what is mentioned in the package?

Yes, additional edited images will be charged Rs. 350 per image.

8. What happens if I want to reschedule or cancel my session?

Let us know a minimum 48 hours in advance and we can reschedule your session to the next available date. Less than 48 hours we may forfeit your booking deposit. This would be solely at the Atmaj Rane Photography's discretion and on a case-to-case basis.

Advance is non-refundable, but can be used for further bookings.

9. Are you flexible with the timings for the shoot?

Yes, we are very flexible depending on the your routine and the availability of the slots for indoor photo sessions.

However, for outdoor photo sessions, we need to follow a fixed timings. We recommend morning session between 6:30-8:30 AM and and evening session between 4:30-6:30 PM depending on the time of the year.

NOTE: Client must arrive at the location or be ready as per the allotted time slot. A late start will result in a shorter session and neither of us wants that.

10. How to book Photoshoot and what are the modes of payments available?

11. Are Paid Location charges included in the packages?

» Outdoor location can be your nearby open garden, park or a nearby beach and we will suggest you the best possible location as per your requirements. We do not work on commission with the security as you pay them directly.

» Paid location charges for private or public gardens/monuments/places are not included in any packages and it will have to be paid by client at the location.
